Rescue workers take two dead victims and an injured woman, all family members, from the crash scene following a train-pickup truck crash in Surat Thani's Wiang Sa district on Saturday morning. A crushed Isuzu pickup truck with Surat Thani licence plates was found overturned about 50 metres away from the railway crossing when police and rescue workers arrived. The body of a girl, identified later as Ananthalak Lao-ubon, 9, was found outside the pickup truck. It was the third train crash in this southern province since early this year. The crash occurs at the unmanned railway crossing, which has a warning-light system.
